Will it matter if you don’t take your breakfast? Recently a test was given in the United States. Those tested included people of different ages, from 12 to 83. During the experiment, these people were given all kinds of breakfasts and sometimes they got no breakfast at all. Special tests were set up to see how well their body worked when they had eaten a certain kind of breakfast. The results show that if a person eats a proper breakfast, he or she will work with a better effect (效果) than if he or she has no breakfast. This fact appears to be especially true if a person works with his brain. If a student eats fruits, eggs, bread and milk before going to school, he will learn more quickly and listen with more attention in class. Contrary to what many people believe, if you don’t eat breakfast, you will not lose weight. This is because people become so hungry at noon that they eat too much for lunch and end up gaining weight instead of losing. You will probably lose more weight if you cut down your other meals.
61. During the test, those who were tested were given __________.
A. no breakfast at all
B. very rich breakfast
C. little food for breakfast
D. different breakfasts or none

The Wonder of Argentina Iguazu Falls
Missing the sun? Well, down in Argentina, its summertime and beautiful destinations like Iguazu Falls are waiting to be discovered. Lots to do and see, this is one place everyone needs to visit at least once in their lifetime.
Located in the northern province of Misiones, Argentina on the Iguazu River (iguazu being the Guarani word for “great water”), Iguazu Falls is known as one of the world’s largest and most attractive waterfalls. Upon former US First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt’s visit to the Falls, she said, “Poor Niagara!” The Falls divide the river in half, making the upper and lower Iguazu. The largest of the 275 falls that swallow the river is “Devil’s Throat”, and with a height of an astonishing 80 meters, it’s a fairly impressive sight to view!
The Park
In order to see the Falls in all its glory, you’ll need to visit the Park, which was created in 1934 to preserve the biological diversity of the subtropical rainforest and the breathtaking scenery surrounding the Falls. It was declared a Natural Heritage in 1984 and covers an area of approximately 660 square meters. Approximately 400 species of birds, 2000 species of plants and a world of insects call the Park their home. You’ll especially love the butterflies that constantly surround and play with you!
The Devil’s Throat
The “Garganta del Diablo” (means Devil’s Throat) is the reason for this trip! Once in the Park, you can enjoy walking along the scenic 1100-meter-long path that starts from Garganta station and takes you to the viewing balcony(露台), where you’ll be able to get an overall view of one of the most beautiful sights you’ll ever see! However, be prepared to be wet through by the powerful spray(水花) coming off the Falls.
Don’t Miss
Take a boat ride that place you right under the falls——but be prepared to get totally soaked!—— and walk along more stunning paths; enjoy a photo safari through the forest, or view the Falls at night under the light of the full moon!

Modern festival-goers who worry about ending up with a dead mobile phone battery(电池) after days stuck in a muddy field with no electric plug power points may now have a solution——power boots(靴子).
Mobile phone company European Telco Orange has introduced a phone charging(充电) prototype—— a set of thermoelectric gumboots or Wellington boots with a “power generation sole” that changes heat from the wearer’s feet into electrical power to charge battery-powered hand-helds.
The boot was designed by Dave Pain, managing director at GotWind, a renewable energy company. Pain said the boot uses the Seebeck effect, in which a circuit made of two dissimilar metals conducts electricity if the two places where they connect are held at different temperatures. “In the sole of the Wellington boot there’s a thermocouple and if you apply heat to one side of the thermocouple and cold to the other side it produces an electrical charge,” Pain said. “That electrical charge we then pass through to a battery which you’ll find in the heel of the boot for storage of the electrical power for later use to charge your mobile phone.” These thermocouples are connected electrically, forming an array of multiple thermocouples (thermopile). They are then sandwiched between two thin ceramic wafers. When the heat from the foot is applied on the top side of the ceramic wafer and cold is applied on the opposite side, from the cold of the ground, electricity is made.
But the prototype boot does have one drawback. You have to walk for 12 hours in the boots to make one hour’s worth of charge.
72. The passage is probably taken from _____________ of a website.
A. the business section B. the sports section
C. the science section D. the health section
73. What’s the main idea of the third paragraph?
A. How the boot works to make electricity.
B. How long the boot can be used.
C. Who invented the power boot.
D. The weakness of the boot.
74. Which of the following can replace the underlined word “drawback” in the last paragraph?

A. who like traveling in the wild B. who work at home
